The Jack Holloway Star of Gratitude Award

Premier Beverages, Republic National Distributing Co. and Southern Wine & Spirits have quietly given our

children and families strength and fortitude for the past decade.  Like Jack Holloway, founder of ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, they are active philanthropists, helping organizations like UCP of Central Florida build support for those we serve.

Since 1999, the three companies have collectively donated more than $1 million in gifts and pledges to UCP.  Their investment has allowed thousands of children to receive the support, education and therapy that they need. Over the years, their contributions have helped build UCP’s downtown Orlando/Holloway, Pine Hills and East Orange/Bailes Campuses.  In addition, they have been active members of the Miracles for Children Annual Giving Society. While this participation is often behind the scenes, to UCP, their support puts them center stage.

The Jackie Bailes Legacy Award

Robert “Bob” Mandell is the second recipient of the Jackie Bailes Legacy Award. The award is named after a special individual whose love and guidance has helped our children and families build a better life—but more importantly feel respected, loved, and an important part of our community.

A long-time resident of Orlando, Bob has an extensive list of public service where he’s successfully helped organizations like UCP build success. Most recently, Bob served as the capital campaign co-chair for UCP of Central Florida’s new East Orange Bailes Campus.  Under his guidance and leadership, UCP has raised more over $6.5 million toward the new facility where more than 350 children, both and without disabilities, will receive support, education and therapy all in one place.
